1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and company name when you create an account. We also collect usage data, including images you upload, videos you generate, and your interaction with our platform. The same applies when you use VIVID through its API or through a connected AI assistant: we receive the instructions, reference files and tool calls sent on your behalf, and the content generated from them is stored in your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our services; to process transactions; to send you technical notices and support messages; and to respond to your requests.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Cloudflare’s global network (R2 storage and D1 databases). All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). We do not sell your data to third parties. Data retention: the assets you generate (images, videos, projects) remain available for as long as your account is active, and you can delete them at any time. Temporary input images are automatically deleted within 7 days. When you delete your account all your content is erased; invoices are retained in anonymised form for the period required by tax obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing, Google for authentication, and Cloudflare for hosting and AI processing. Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they process. If you connect an AI assistant to VIVID (for example Claude by Anthropic or ChatGPT by OpenAI), that assistant receives the results of the requests you make through it and processes your conversation under its own privacy policy. If you accept it in the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate statistics on site usage; details are in the Cookie Policy.
5. Google Sign-In and Google user data
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive from Google only your name, your email address and your profile picture (the openid, email and profile scopes), which we use solely to create and recognise your VIVID account. We do not access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other data of your Google account. We do not sell or transfer the data received from Google, we do not use it for advertising or to train artificial-intelligence models, and we share it only with the providers that host the service on our behalf (Cloudflare). Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by deleting your VIVID account.
6. API and Connected Apps
You can use VIVID through its API or by connecting a third-party AI assistant (for example Claude by Anthropic or ChatGPT by OpenAI) with OAuth. In that case the assistant sends VIVID only what is needed to carry out your request: your instruction, any reference files you attach and the tool call itself; VIVID sends back the result (links to the generated content and its metadata). VIVID does not receive or store your conversation history, and the generated content is saved in your account exactly like a generation made from the web app. For each connection we store its name, the date it was created and the date it was last used, so you can review and revoke it from Settings → Connected apps; revoked connections are deleted. API keys and connection credentials are stored hashed and cannot be read back by us. The assistant provider processes your conversation under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account yourself from Settings → Delete Account: this permanently erases your content (images, videos, projects) and anonymises the associated personal data.
